My Thrive Experience

My Thrive experience started in a similar way I’ve read most people talk about: with skepticism. I was 46 years old, working 12-hour rotating shifts. Nights and then days with overtime in between. I have an active lifestyle outside of work. Between 2 kids, a marriage, and all the things I wanted to go do, the candle I had been burning on both ends was quickly running out of a middle. My energy levels were dropping; My body was starting to show signs of wear and tear; My mood and overall feeling of well-being were beginning to crack. On my days off I found myself wanting to sleep more and do less. The demands and activities of my kids and family life were at times a huge chore rather than a source of enjoyment. My patience with people at work, my wife, and with myself was also say the least. I began asking myself some hard questions. What were my options? Can I continue to make great money and provide for my family without ruining my health?

A high school friend contacted me one evening. He had been taking a nutritional supplement called Thrive. He claimed it changed his life. Yeah, yeah I’ve heard it all before. I was already taking numerous supplements in an effort to prop myself up. He was persistent and I relented. My biggest concern was I would take this stuff and not be able to sleep. He assured me that would not happen. I ordered and my Thrive came in shortly after. My skepticism continued.

Morning one: I followed the instructions, took my supplements and rushed out the door at 4 a.m. I can’t say that I was sold the first day but something was different. I didn’t feel as beat up at the end of the day. Day 2 was better and I began feeling a difference. Within 2 weeks I felt significantly better. My mood was upbeat. My joints did not feel as stiff.  My mental focus and clarity were improving daily. I now feel I have something left at the end of my day for my family and for myself. I began working out more consistently and I began seeing more gains for my effort. My eating habits have improved. My sleep became more restful.

I cannot attribute all the changes in my life to Thrive. Worthwhile change comes with effort and at times suffering. Thrive has given me the energy and mental focus to concentrate on the things I need to do to reach my goals. I began to get into a morning ritual of stretching, short meditation and prayer. People around me began noticing a change too. It is my belief when a person gives their body the nutrients to be healthy things such as mood and energy levels will improve. We are beautifully and wonderfully made. I made a decision to be more mindful about what goes into my body and am now reaping the benefits. Energy drinks and massive quantities of coffee are now a thing of the past. I am now a Thriver and enjoying every minute of it.
